Marisa’s studio is the place to visit to commission a piece of jewellery, however large or small. It can be something created from completely new materials, commemorating a particular event, or just a special treat. On the other hand, it could be a remodelling of a much loved but tired-looking old piece which can be given a new lease of life after melting the gold and re-using the original stones. If necessary, additional gold can be included in the remodelled piece of jewellery. An enticing selection of new, quality gemstones, including diamonds, that Marisa sources from trusted suppliers can be an inspiring addition to the final design.

COMMISSIONING A PIECE OF MARISA ARNA JEWELLERY
Please read the following information about the commissioning process of a Marisa Arna piece of jewellery:
Marisa is happy to design a piece of jewellery especially for you, based on her own, original designs, which are many and the various adaptations based on the alloys and gemstones can be endless. You are sure to end up with an original Marisa Arna piece of jewellery. Copying another designer's or large brand's design is not something that Marisa would carry out, for obvious reasons.
-Once a design and price is agreed, a non-refundable, 50% deposit is paid, to go towards some of the costs of the materials or labour,.
-If the commissioned piece is a ring, a fitting will be required.
-The 50% balance is payable on completion, when the jewellery is collected or, if it is to be posted, before the item is despatched to the recipient's address. This can be done by card, over the phone, or by bacs.
-As with anything bespoke, commissioned items are non-exchangeable although Marisa will do her best to make some minor alterations, if at all required. This is very rare. Any major alterations, including re-sizing to fit another finger, will incur additional costs, to be covered by the customer.
-REMODELLING TECHNICAL INFORMATION: In the case of remodelling old jewellery, only yellow gold jewellery, of any fineness can be melted and re-modelled. We regret that silver, white gold and platinum cannot be successfully melted down and re-shaped with the current studio equipment. Even with gold jewellery, the shape of the old jewellery, the amount of solder joints and a few other factors will determine how useable it is and whether there might be an additional charge, due to particular technical difficulties, as everything is hand fabricated by Marisa and not cast.
-All of Marisa's pieces, according to UK Hallmarking legislation, are hallmarked at the London Assay Office and carry Marisa's unique, registered maker's mark.
