Marisa Arna
Greek born Marisa Arna, originally a potter, has been a jeweller since 2007. She uses a variety of traditional and modern goldsmithing techniques, most of them acquired in the UK. She creates her handmade jewellery from silver, gold and gemstones, including diamonds. Just like her previous career as a potter, she uses texture and contrasting surfaces and coloured precious metals to give life to her designs in jewellery - beautifully tactile and easy to wear.
Marisa's jewellery ranges from small and delicate pieces to one-off necklaces, engagement, wedding rings and other commissions of any size, to commemorate an occasion. She starts from designing a piece and sees it through to the stone setting stage which she also does herself.
Marisa's work consists mainly of her signature collections, bespoke jewellery and remodelling work, and engagement, wedding and commitment pieces. She is constantly inspired by something new which eventually becomes another new collection or a one-off creation. Despite the constant technical challenge, this evolution and progress combined with the chance to meet lovely people for an important and usually happy time in their life makes Marisa feel that she has the 'best job in the world'.
COMMISSIONS & REMODELLING enquiries : Please phone - preferably a day or more in advance - to book an appointment which is free and without obligation and can last more than an hour. Appointment availability cannot be guaranteed on a specific day but we will do our best to accommodate you.
REPAIRS & ALTERATIONS: Marisa's time is spent between creating her jewellery and running the gallery as well as after-sales service. We will always look after Marisa Arna jewellery and any jewellery purchased in the Thorpe-le-Soken gallery.
For other brand or old jewellery which has not been purchased in the gallery, we regret there is no time to carry out repairs, alterations, resizing or jewellery restoration. For the above, we recommend you seek out a reputable jobbing jeweller that caries out such jobs routinely.
Thank you for your understanding.
