We have been here on Thorpe-le-Soken High Street since 1997 in a number of different guises. In those days Marisa was a ceramist making fine thrown porcelain selling here from the studio, and from galleries and shops over the UK like the Conran shop and the V&A Museum shop. The next phase in our evolution was as a gallery showcasing work by other makers alongside Marisa's, such as glass, jewellery, textiles and 2D art. Then, in 2007, Marisa became a full-time jeweller and the Jewellery Studio appeared, and has become the destination in this part of the country for individual jewellery designed and handmade by Marisa Arna as well as other talented jewellers from around the UK. Everyone is welcome to have a leisurely browse in the gallery and studio.

 

A date or a couple of initials can make a small gift even more special. Marisa Arna jewellery can be hand engraved at no extra cost.

Our Gift Vouchers for any sum are a perfect solution to the old problem of choice for a present. They can also be purchased over the phone and we will post them with your message to the recipient.

LEAD TIMES

FOR ORDERS

  • To remake stock items: 2-6 weeks .If a piece of jewellery was purchased as a gift and needs to me re-made to a different size then the above lead time applies. This is for items without stones. If there is any stone-setting the lead-time below applies.
  • Bespoke, including re-using old gemstones, no old gold : 12 weeks
  • Remodelling (melting and remodelling old gold): 12-14 weeks at the moment.

Every piece of jewellery is different so please do call if you have a question. Marisa will do her best to fit things in, if at all possible.

 

 

 

 

Visiting Us

You are very welcome to pop in for a browse when the gallery is open, 5 days a week.

 

To discuss a commission it is advisable to book a free appointment with Marisa, especially during busy times.

 

COMMISSIONS and REMODELLING enquiries : Please phone - preferably a day or more in advance - to book an appointment which is free and without obligation and can last more than an hour. Appointment availability cannot be guaranteed on a specific day but we will do our best to accommodate you. Thank you for your understanding.

 

Thorpe-Le-Soken is 1hour and 20mins from London Liverpool Street station and a stone's throw from Frinton-on-Sea.
